ain’t a sad song was one of the first songs I wrote and, though I don’t plan on releasing it any time soon I decided to make song art for it anyway. I wrote it when I felt incredibly passive about my mental health's hold over me, and I wanted the song art to portray the same kind of sad acceptance as reflected in the lyrics – with a playful touch.
